Arrive at the Airport, Meet & Assistance on arrival by our representative at Colombo airport. Transfer to Colombo & Check into hotel. In the evening, visit Colombo city. Formerly the capitol of Sri Lanka, Colombo remains the commercial hub of the Island. Situated on the West coast of the Island, Colombo has one of the largest artificial harbours in the world and is a principal port of the Indian Ocean. Colombo is a vibrant city with plenty to see and do. If shopping is on your agenda, this is the best place to get it done. For clothing, you can take your pick from one of the larger shopping malls like Crescent Boulevard, Majestic City and Liberty Plaza or departments stores like ODEL and House of Fashion. After breakfast proceed to Habarana En route visit Pinnawela Elephant orphanage The orphanage was established in 1975 with just four orphaned baby elephants and is now home to the largest captive group of elephants in the world. From newborns to elderly matriarchs, the orphanage is home to both orphaned elephants and those that have been injured in the wild. Visitors should make sure they stay around for meal time and bath time as this is the perfect time to witness the elephants at their playful best. Proceed to Dambulla & visit Rock cave temples. The Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla was founded in the 1st century by King Valagamba. Ancient sculptures and paintings of the Buddha and various Hindu deities and are located in five central caves. The original sculptures and paintings have gained additions throughout the centuries and stand monument to evolving artistic styles of the ancient Ceylonese. Arrive & check in to hotel. After breakfast, leave for Sigiriya and visit the rock fortress. Enjoy a Elephant ride. Proceed to Polonnaruwa. & visit a Wood Carving Center. Visit the mediaeval capital Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa was the mediaeval capital of Sri Lanka, and today it is one of the most beautiful centers of our cultural heritage. With its comparatively brief history and a dozen rules, it is far more completely preserves ruin than Anuradhapura. Visit the ancient ruins and Gal Vihara complex, where 3 gigantic Buddha's statues are carved out of a single rock. Return to Hotel. Dinner & Over Night Stay.

Spices are mostly grown in home gardens (as a home industry) and used not only to flavour food but also in medicine and cosmetics. Visit a Spice Garden and sample such scents and flavors as cinnamon, ginger, pepper, vanilla, cardamom etc. Batik has been an ancient art of painting cloth and today Sri Lanka is among the world leaders in the design of batik. Batik galleries and factories offer batik from simple single-colored designs to intricate multi-colored masterpieces. Visit Batik Factory and see the various phases of batik manufacture. Check in to the hotel. In the evening visit the City of Kandy. Sri Lanka's second city is Kandy, a beautiful historical city in the citadel of the country. It is not only known for its great kings who ruled the city for almost 225 years independently until the British took over in 1815, but it is also the place where the Sacred Tooth of Lord Buddha is laid in a magnificent temple. The incomparable Perahera celebration, a procession of more than 100 elephants, is held every August here. Visit part of the Old Palace and the Temple of the Tooth Relic and view the daily traditional rituals of the Temple. In the evening, view half an hour cultural performance of Kandyan Dancing. It is mainly thorny scrub forest, reminiscent of the African bush, and provides the visitors best bet for seeing animals. Other varieties of species such as crocodile, peacock and if you are lucky, bear and leopard could be seen as well. Proceed to Bentota. En route visit Galle Galle is the south coast’s major city, whose oldest landmark is the massive 17th century Portuguese and Dutch Fort in which the central city is contained. The journey to Galle is along the palm-fringed beaches passing Hikkaduwa with its beautiful “coral gardens” and exotic tropical fish. Visit the Dutch Fort and the city of Galle. As you walk through the streets you can see strong Dutch influences in the architecture, along with some old British residences and various mosques with Arabic touches. Arrive & check into Hotel.
